This standing figure is from the Tang Dynasty, ca. 618 to 907 CE and is among the oldest pieces in our collection. The court figure stands with hands together within large sleeve cuffs, in a floor-length vestment, and holds upright the head which features a wide nose and a wide-brimmed cap. 4 inches wide and 10 3/4 inches tall.
