Tuxedo Park Junk Shop Wayne Cunningham Abstract Oil Painting

Wayne Cunningham is an artist from the northeast United States. His work has a few distinct styles – abstract paintings, collages in remarkable detail, modern primitive characters. I have collected many of his works. This piece is a favorite of mine. The palette is simple and elegant. The rhythm of the lines move the eye around the work but not off of the canvas. This is Cunningham at his most minimal. The canvas measures 30 inches by 30 inches.
